meet our formulator

relativskin is truly a collaboration between family and friends – and friends who feel like family.  One such person at the very core of what we do is our formulator, Armin.

Many skin care start-ups sell products that are created by private label companies.  Products are made according to generic recipes, then simply rebranded.  We don’t do that.  We have Armin.

Located in Vancouver, Armin (MSc) is a Master Food Scientist who has spent the past 25 years making natural cosmetics, natural health products, wine, beer, and botanical extractions.  He has worked extensively in collaboration with companies in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.

What we most appreciate about working with Armin is his integration of considerable experience and desire to explore emerging ingredients and technologies.  He creates the space for us to choose our ingredients, provides guidance, and works out the intricacies of the formulations from there. Working with Armin enables us to create our dream products with confidence that they’re of the highest quality and meet all our ethical standards.
